SM Foundation, Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of the SM Group of Companies distributed 4,000 Christmas packs in different chosen communities last December 6.

According to Ms.Paula Gayeta, Public Relations Officer of SM City Bataan, 100 Christmas baskets were distributed to the members of Tinig ng Mandaragat, a community organization responsible for maintaining the mangrove sanctuary adopted by SM Prime Holdings, Inc. in Barangay Puerto Rivas, Balanga City.

Similar Christmas baskets were also distributed in different chosen communities in the provinces of Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales and other provinces, which did not only bring smiles and cheers in the region but also promoted the culture of volunteerism to spread joy.

Said gift-giving of SM Supermalls is focused on supporting communities and the different sectors such as senior citizens, persons with disabilities, poor and indigenous people.
